Lovely golden/honey colours in the NZ Ancient Kauri platter, swamp test age of samples of kauri from where the wood for this platter came from showed that the kauri had been buried just under 4,000 years. The kauri wood in perfect condition being preserved by the lack of air in the swamp/wetland. Platter turned by Rick Taylor
