1 day basic woodturning tuition for beginners 8am till 4pm. This is hands on day, one on one ie individual tuition just you and Rick Taylor Everything is included ie use of the lathe, wood used, lunch. You get to take your completed project home. You can purchase a voucher for a gift and confirm a date later. Bookings are essential and you can have the tuition any day of the week. We also have two books written by Rick Taylor - How to turn a bowl and how to turn a hollow pot NZ$85 each - see our 'shop now" page

    one on one tuition ie just you and Rick Taylor your tutor
    8am till 4pm with everything included ie wood, tool use, lathe use etc.
    Lunch included.
    You can purchase a voucher and book a day at a later date - can be weekend or week day.
    Learn the basic of wood turning, tool use, sanding and how to finish your work. This one day is also suitable for beginners who want to improve their wood turning skills. Even if you dont have a lathe at present come and have a day and Rick can advise you on the necessary tools etc required.
